Activities with local children in Our Hot House

15th June 2018 saw the first of our Pre-School Children's leaf painting sessions. The painting activity is accompanied by a conversation on what leaves are where they come from, their shapes, colours and textures. 

 

The sessions gave children the opportunity to express their ideas, thus supporting their language and numeracy development. Most importantly we aim to give children self-esteem and confidence when expressing themselves.
